Goodnight Mommy (10/10) : so mentally shocking. Twin kids who thought the mommy was fake one. Turned out in his mental... His brother was still alive so does his mommy. He accidentally killed both. This is very mind blowing 🤯

• The Twist: Only Elias is alive. Lukas actually died before the events of the film (implied to be from a drowning accident).
  Throughout the movie, Elias is hallucinating Lukas, talking and playing with him as if he’s still there. That’s why the “mother” never acknowledges Lukas — not because she’s an impostor, but because Lukas is gone.

• The Conflict: Elias projects his confusion and grief into paranoia, thinking their mother is an impostor because she refuses to play along with his delusion that Lukas is alive. When she tries to set boundaries and confront reality, Elias (egged on by his imagined Lukas) becomes increasingly violent.

👉 So when you said “he killed his twin brother” — it’s more accurate that the twin (Lukas) was already dead, and Elias killed their mother under the belief she wasn’t really her.

the movie was unique. both smart and made me crying.. about a man on his birthday who felt like he was hit by a light. suddenly he became so smart and sensitive. he could know about earthquake, about languages and he could learn fast .

People thought he was contacted by alien. but turned out he had a tumor on his brain and the position of that tumor made the position that drove him smart. he passed away on his woman's arms.
